If and when this is read... Remarkable was truly the BEST friend I've EVER known.
I want to let it be known that he made it possible for me to truly realize my dreams and potential in the face of the adversities known to many young talented black-men from the "inner-cities" of america. His infectous smile made it hard to frown even during some of the most trying moments of my life. THE GREATEST "RAPPER" THAT EVER LIVED (word is bond) "Rev" inspired the flame that still continues to burn in my heart and soul some 13 years since we met in Camden N.J. His love and devotion to his son Rayvonne, helped me to understand that we are not here for ourselves and have a duty to our children that reaches far beyond our limited understanding of "time". A prince among lesser men, his mere presence was enough to make people of lesser substance "Stand down" and respect his God-given "rank" in matters of decision and ethics. He saved my life in the summer of 97' after an incident that was mainly my fault, and still fought by my side heroically, and afterwards admonished the "childishness" that seemed to characterize my decisions during that time. "That cat, taught me how to be a "Man" and I will always cherish his memory. I know that he is in Heaven now, because I lead him to Jesus Christ myself on a back street in my "hood" where he humbly and sincerly received pardon and atonement for the sin's that he commited on this "fallen" planet he once called "home". My condolences and reassurance to anyone that still grieves for this "fallen-soldier." -Is 8/20/08
